Integrate HubSpot Email Sync

The Optimizely Data Platform (ODP) integration with HubSpot automates the import of contacts along with their sends, opens, clicks, bounces, and spam reports from HubSpot into ODP. ODP performs an initial historical import of all contacts with email addresses, which includes 60 days of historical email event data and any custom fields that exist in both ODP and HubSpot.

The ODP field name and HubSpot internal name must match for the integration to recognize the custom field association.

After the initial import, ODP performs hourly synchronizes of recent campaign activity and any newly created or updated contacts to ensure your contact data remains current. These syncs also recognize any additional custom fields that have been created.

Configure HubSpot

  1. Go to Integrations > HubSpot.
  2. Add the HubSpot Portal ID and API Key that can be found on the Integrations page within HubSpot.
  3. Click Save.

After you saved your HubSpot configuration, ODP begins the initial historical import. You can view progress of the import on the Activity Log page in ODP.
