Overview
The Optimizely Data Platform (ODP) integration with Google Ads allows you to use your customer segments created in ODP in audience targeting on Youtube, Gmail, and Google Search to reach customers outside of email.
Configuration
- Sign in to your Google Ads account and retrieve your customer ID. Your customer ID should be in the format ###-###-####.
- In ODP, go to Account Settings > Integrations > Google.
- Place the Customer ID into the Client Customer ID field.
- Click Authorize and accept the Google authentication.
- Toggle the Inactive option to Active.
Sync specific segments
Determine which segments to sync to Google by selecting the segment and toggling on Google.
