This topic describes how to:
- Subscribe to email notifications
- Change your email and password settings
- Enable 2-step verification
First, log in to the Optimizely Experimentation Application to modify your account profile information.
Select Profile to view your settings.
For additional, account-wide settings that shared across all collaborators, review Account Settings.
Subscribing to email notifications
Refer to the article on how to Enable email notifications in Optimizely Experimentation for information on subscribing to email notifications if your experiment reaches statistical significance.
Change email and password settings
To change your email and password settings, select the Preferences tab.
Your email address is used to sign in to your account and receive any correspondence from Optimizely Experimentation. Your password must use at least 8 characters and a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
You may not reuse any of your four most recent passwords when changing your password. If you try to use a recent password, you will see an error message: Password must not match a previously used password.
To access certain Optimizely Experimentation features or file a support ticket, you may need to verify your email address. Optimizely Experimentation will send you an email when verification is necessary.
2-Step Verification
To enable or disable 2-step verification, select the Preferences tab. Then, select the corresponding radio button to enable/disable 2-step verification for your account.
2-step verification increases the security of your Optimizely Experimentation account. When you sign in, you will need a secure password and an identifier from your phone to access your account. Refer to Protect your account with individual 2-step verification for more.
