Configure FedEx carrier record for the package-rated service

This article provides an overview on configuring FedEx for Optimizely Configured Commerce.

Creating the FedEx carrier record

1. Go to Admin Console > Shipping & Fulfillment > Carriers
2. Click Add New Carrier.
3. The Details tab, has two sections: Carrier Information and Carrier Account Setup. The following tables identify the necessary values for each field

   Carrier information

   Field Name	Value
   Name	FedEx
   Description	FedEx Carrier Rating
   Contact Name	Name of the contact person at the carrier
   Contact Phone	Phone number of the carrier contact
   Contact Email	Email address of the carrier contact
   Image Path
   Primary Carrier	Toggle to determine if the carrier is the default is automatically selected on
   Enabled	Enable/disable the carrier at the Carrier level. It is also possible to enable/disable the carrier at the Service level.

   Live URL	https://gateway.fedex.com/web-services
   Live	Selecting YES enables live rating on a production site. This should not be enable for development or pilot implementations.
   Test URL	https://gatewaybeta.fedex.com/web-services
   Rating Service	Select the carrier rating service, in this case, FedEx.
   Account Number	FedEx account number
   User Name	Meter Number
   Password	API Password
   Access Key	User Key/API Key

4. Click Save.

FedEx standard ship codes

The following table provides a list of standard ship codes for setting up carrier rating for FedEx. These codes should be entered in the Ship Code field within the Services tab:
