The Admin Console has its own unique roles for managing a variety of tasks, including processes and workflows. Admin Console roles are always prefaced with "ISC_" to differentiate them from Website/Storefront roles. Based on predefined permissions, each role can only access certain areas of the Admin Console. Although these permissions can be customized, the matrix below provides the default permissions for each Admin Console role.
ISC_Implementer- Role was created for partners doing implementation. It has access to almost everything ISC_System has, but some settings are hidden from users with this role.
ISC_FrontEndDev - Role provides access to CMS and Themes & Content sections.
ISC_System is an Optimizely-only role and appears here for reference purposes only.
