Create users within the website

Optimizely Configured Commerce lets you create website users from the storefront and create users in the Admin Console.

Users who create their own accounts on the website are automatically activated.

From the storefront:

  1. Log into the website.
  2. Hover over the My Account menu and click User Administration.

  3. Click Create New User.

  4. Enter a Username, Email, First Name, and Last Name.
  5. Select a User Role. Click the Question Mark icon to learn more about the different roles.
  6. Select an Approver if required. Requisitioner, Buyer Level 1, and Buyer Level 2 require approver assignment. Use the drop-down list or search for an approver by username.
  7. Click Create User.

The new user displays on the User Administration dashboard.
