Manage Virtual Teammates for your organization

As an Opal administrator, manage a Virtual Teammate in Optimizely Opal to control which of its jobs are available and whether people can hire it. You manage these controls from the Directory tab. Optimizely automatically updates which jobs are available for enabled Virtual Teammates.

Manage jobs for a Virtual Teammate

Manage the jobs a Virtual Teammate makes available from the Directory tab or from the teammate's details.

Manage jobs from the Directory

To manage the jobs a Virtual Teammate runs from the Directory tab, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Virtual Teammates > Directory.

2. Click Settings for the teammate you want to edit.

   

3. Click Manage jobs.

   

4. Turn off each job you want to stop.

   

5. Click Confirm.

Manage jobs from the teammate's details

To manage the jobs a Virtual Teammate runs from the teammate's details, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Virtual Teammates > Directory.
2. Click the tile of the teammate you want to manage.

3. Click Details.

   

4. Click Manage > Manage jobs.

   

5. Turn off each job you want to stop.

   

6. Click Confirm.

Freeze hiring of a Virtual Teammate

Freeze hiring to stop people in your organization from hiring a Virtual Teammate. You can freeze hiring from the Directory tab or from the teammate's details.

To freeze hiring of a Virtual Teammate from the Directory tab, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Virtual Teammates > Directory.

2. Click Settings for the teammate you want to freeze.

   

3. Click Freeze hiring.

   

4. Click Freeze hiring on the confirmation page.

   

Freeze hiring from the teammate's details

To freeze hiring of a Virtual Teammate from the teammate's details, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Virtual Teammates > Directory.
2. Click the tile of the teammate you want to manage.

3. Click Details.

   

4. Click Manage > Freeze hiring.

   

5. Click Freeze hiring on the confirmation page.
