When your social accounts are connected, you will be able to publish and share your content to each of your channels, directly from the CMP.
In this article, you will learn how to:
- Access Social Account Settings
- Add A Social Account: LinkedIn
- Add Videos From YouTube
- Integrating Sprinklr
- Disable A Social Account
Access Social Account Settings
Navigate to your settings page by clicking your avatar and selecting 'Social Accounts' from the dropdown.
This should take you to this page: https://app.welcomesoftware.com/cloud/settings/social-accounts
We offer integration for several socials such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube. All channels can be found under "native Integration" tab.
Add A Social Account: LinkedIn
As an example, Linkedin is used in this article. The process is the same for all socials. Click on connect LinkedIn account. A new window will open asking you to sign in.
After you have signed in your account will be added and you will see your account under that social channel.
As soon as an account has been added "Connect LinkedIn account" will be replaced by "Sync account". You can add multiple social accounts.
The process is the same for other socials as well. You will be asked to log in to your account after clicking sync account. After logging in that account will get added and will be available under that social.
Please note: You will need to click on 'Sync Account' to renew channel tokens once they have expired. Admins of integrated channels should be able to deduce when this action will be required once the following message appears in the homepage of their instance:
Your social accounts will appear under the 'Publishing' tab of the task page, as shown below:
Add Videos From YouTube
You can also add all your social accounts such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram in the same process. You can add your youtube account the same way. But you will not be able to directly publish to youtube but you can add your youtube videos to your articles.
In the content editor, you will see an option to link your youtube videos.
This will let you link any videos from your youtube channel.
You can also integrate your Sprinklr account with CMP and publish your content directly to Sprinklr social accounts. Full details on it can be found in this article Integrating Sprinklr.
Disable A Social Account
You can also disable a channel from CMP so users can share contents to that channel instead of deleting it.
The disable/enable option is located beside that channel.
Once a channel has been disabled it won't be available for publishing.
