View the Kanban board
Select Plan > Board to view the Kanban board.
Step or task view
By default, you can review task progress by status (Not Started, In Progress, and Completed), and update them as work is completed and plans change. This lets marketers plan and manage their team's tasks in a more agile manner, without losing sight of the big picture.
Select Steps for a more granular view of work in progress, and understand each step's progress.
View by and Group by functions
You can view by Status. Campaign, Assignee, Destination, and more to make the Kanban board your own, and get updates with the most relevant information. In the following example, a marketer can view each step's status grouped by campaign, giving them a quick overview of campaign health and progress, and subsequently make better decisions.
The following example selects Assignee to see tasks and steps against their selected variable.
Group by lets you organize results by attributes, such as Due Date or Campaign. For example, you can view tasks by Assignee, and group them by Campaign to understand what each team member is currently working on, what campaign each task is part of, and the campaign's overall health and progress.
Click the gear icon in the upper right corner to order the columns To change the columns that appear, such as assignees, use the filter panel.
Filtering and saved views
You can also create saved views of the Kanban board, which you can apply and share with the rest of your team. Saved views from other team members are also available in the Kanban board.
Using the search bar
You can search the Kanban board like any other search to find a specific task or step.
Edit the Kanban board
You can edit and update tasks and steps on the Kanban board as work is completed; reassign tasks and steps to other team members.
Drag and drop
Drag and drop to update a task or step's progress. For example, you can drag a task from the Not Started column and drop it into the In Progress column to update its status. This initiates the task's workflow, and notifies the assigned user that work has begun.
Similarly, if you are using the Kanban board to view steps by Assignee, you can review each team member's bandwidth, and reassign work as needed by dragging a step from one assignee's column and dropping it into another. This updates the step to reflect it was reassigned to another team member, and notifies the new assignee of this change.
Note: While this feature is available in most views, it may not be available for some objects and attributes selected to view the Kanban board. When you use the Kanban board to review steps by campaign, for example, you cannot drag steps across campaigns. When this function is not available, a message displays.
If you have permissions, you can edit panels on-the-go by simply hovering over them; a card view displays with the necessary editing options.
Save your Kanban board to a CSV file
Click Export to save the board to a .csv file, which you can share with team members that aren't on the Welcome instance, or with external stakeholders, enabling greater visibility and transparency into what users are working on, and their progress.
