If you create an alias name that already exists, Ektron adds a number to the alias name (to make it unique).
The system automatically appends a number to prevent duplicate aliases.
When you create an automatic alias, examine the folder or taxonomy structure that were used to form the alias. If the outcome of this rule is similar to another alias rule you might see numerous duplicates. Either adjust the rule or change the folder and taxonomy structure to avoid creating duplicate aliases.
