Content not Inheriting Folder Aliases

You applied a new automatic folder alias to a folder. When you view a content item's properties, you notice that the  folder alias is not inherited.

To get existing content to inherit a new folder alias, republish the content.

New content items automatically inherit aliases applied to their folder. For this reason, it is best to set up automatic aliasing before you begin creating content.
