Link an experiment in Optimizely Feature Experimentation to a hypothesis in Collaboration

After connecting your Feature Experimentation project to your instance of Collaboration, you can link your experiment to a hypothesis in Collaboration. Linking an experiment lets you reference your real-time experiment data and orchestrate your whole experimentation program from one place. 

This linked experiment information includes:

  • Status (running, paused, and so on)
  • Type of experiment (A/B test, multi-armed bandit optimization, and so on)
  • Run dates
  • Variations
  • Audiences
  • Traffic allocation
  • Metrics
  • A link to the Optimizely Experiment Results page

Link experiment

Follow the steps to link an experiment to a hypothesis.

For help, you can view a demo of connecting Collaboration to Web Experimentation and linking an experiment. Make sure to select a Feature Experimentation project instead.
  1. From the Plan page, select the hypothesis that you want to link to an experiment.
  2. On the Experiment tab, click Link Experiment.
  3. Select the Feature Experimentation project to which the experiment you want to link belongs. Click Next.
  4. Select the experiment you want to link to the hypothesis.
  5. Click Link.

Unlink experiment

  1. From the Plan view, on the Experiment tab, click More options.
  2. Click Unlink.
