AI variation summary

You can use Optimizely Opal in Optimizely Web Experimentation and Optimizely Personalization to generate descriptions for your variations, summarizing what element or custom code changes were made in the variation and providing the variation's purpose. This lets you understand how changes affect variation results so you can make decisions about your experiments and campaigns. You can also use this with experience templates.

If you use Opti ID, administrators can turn off generative AI in the Opti ID Admin Center. See Turn generative AI off across Optimizely applications.

Otherwise, contact Optimizely Support to turn off AI features.

Generate descriptions

On the Variations page, click Summarize Variations.

You can also generate a description for a single variation by clicking More (...) > Generate Description.

On the Variations page for an experiment or campaign, click More (...) to Edit, Regenerate, or Disable the description.
