Introduction to Analytics

  • Updated

Analytics is a product and customer analytics SaaS platform that lets you derive deep analytical insights about product usage and customer behavior. Analytics provides self-service exploration templates for commonly used product and behavioral analytics cases such as event segmentation, retention, funnels, and paths. In addition, it provides the ability to fork off from any templated reports into ad hoc, self-service visual data exploration, combining product data with any customer business data. Analytics lets you create rich visualizations and dashboards for collaborative analytics across all product and customer-oriented teams. Analytics also provides full SQL support and a powerful scripting language called NetScript for advanced analysis.

Analytics works directly from data in your data warehouse without any data movement or duplication. You can create rich semantic models of event streams and business data and securely expose them to business users for self-service analytics. Analytics is not opinionated about data models and can work natively off any data model in your data warehouse.

Analytics is a hosted SaaS service that connects to your cloud data warehouse. It offers an option to deploy its service entirely in your Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) for specialized security and compliance-sensitive environments.

For any issues with using Analytics, visit the Customer Support portal or email support@netspring.io. Your organization's Analytics administrator may have enabled a Slack connect channel with Analytics, where you can get your questions answered by Analytics personnel.
