SQL Explorer - Overview – Support Help Center

SQL Explorer provides comprehensive support for SQL (Structured Query Language) and enables you to create explorations based on the results of a SQL query. This allows SQL-savvy analysts to do specialized, advanced analysis using the full power of a familiar language. You do not have to switch to some other tool to write SQL. Further, the results of your SQL-based exploration can be used interchangeably with other template-based explorations which allows for rich analytics in a single tool.

Pre-requisites

Before you start creating explorations inside Analytics, make sure you have created datasets and connected to your data sources.
