You can generate a System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) token from the Admin Center in Opti ID to automate user provisioning through your Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration. See SCIM provisioning for information about managing user identities and creating SCIM provisioning apps for your identity provider (IdP) of choice.
You need the generated token to configure the SCIM provisioning options for the chosen IdP. Keep it secure.
Create an SCIM token
To create and manage your SCIM token, follow these steps:
-
Go to Dashboard > Admin Center > Settings > Authentication > SCIM in your Opti ID account.
The SCIM tab displays only after you configure SSO. See Overview of configuring your own SSO for Opti ID if you need to configure your SSO. -
Select Add SCIM to an SSO Connection. A list of your identity provider (IdP) connections displays. In the following image, Test connection displays. Opti ID lets you add up to five connections.
-
Select the connection (for example, Test connection) where you want to add a SCIM. A confirmation displays to enable SCIM for the selected SSO connection.
-
Click Save to enable the SCIM. Opti ID created your SCIM token. A confirmation message, SCIM key created successfully, displays.
-
Expand the SCIM connection to view your SCIM key.
Remove SCIM connection
To remove the SCIM connection, click Remove SCIM Connection. The following confirmation displays:
