Optimizely's resources are virtualized, redundant, and spread across multiple Availability Zones (data centers) at all times. Full backups of production databases are taken every 24 hours for the resolution of Disaster Recovery incidents, with transaction log backups providing point-in-time recovery.

Daily backups are not intended to be used for customer operational support. Customers and partner engineers should manually complete a database backup with Mission Control before implementing any destructive action.

Optimizely uses a modern cloud architecture with clustered high-availability environments in multiple geographic locations.
