Description

Is it possible to change your search provider for the CMS?

Resolution

Short answer: Yes!

On your CMS server, go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ektron\CMS400v9X\Utilities\SetSearchProvider. Right click and run the utility as an administrator.

Click on the drop down for “Website” to choose the site you are changing search providers for then click on the drop down for “Search Provider” and select your new search provider.

Press the update button at the bottom and your search provider will now be updated!
