Reset your password

If your organization does not use its own SSO with Opti ID, you can reset your password using Opti ID's self-service method.

If your organization uses its own SSO, contact your system administrator to reset your password.
  1. Go to
  2. Enter your Email and click Next.
  3. Click Reset Password.
  4. To initiate the password reset, click Send me an email on the confirmation page.
  5. Go to your email inbox and open the password reset email with the subject Account password reset from
  6. You can click the Reset Password link in the email or use the verification code from the email.
    You must open this link in the same browser session where you initiated the password reset.
  7. (Optional) If you want to use the verification code, go back to the login page, click Enter a verification code instead, enter the code from the email, and click Verify.
  8. Follow the prompts to reset your password, ensuring your password meets the Opti ID password requirements.
  9. Click Reset Password.
