After you set up your organization in Opti ID, you can update the instance name and technical contact. For Optimizely Content Management System (CMS), you can also change the navigation URL for your CMS application.

Update the instance name, technical contact, or CMS navigation URL

  1. Log in to the Opti ID Admin Center. You should be directed to the Product Access page.
  2. Select the product and then the instance for which you want to change the technical contact or instance name. If you want to update the CMS navigation URL, you must select a CMS product instance.
  3. Go to the Details tab and click Edit.

  4. Edit the desired settings:
    • Name – Enter a new instance name, which displays in the Opti ID Admin Center (including in group and role names) and global navigation bar.
    • Navigation URL – Customize the instance name portion of the URL for this CMS instance. This is only available for the CMS product. Ensure the URL starts with https://, does not use special characters or spaces, and is valid.
    • Technical Contact – Enter and select a new technical contact name.
  5. Click Save. The updates take effect immediately.
