The Organization option lets you edit your organization’s settings and preferences. The changes you make here apply to all users of Collaboration.
Go to your avatar and select Organization.

The General tab lets you set the following:
- Organization name and image
- Region
- Default language
- Additional locales
- Business days

Configure the Business Calendar
As an admin, you can set company-wide schedules for holidays and weekends, providing more transparency around team availability. Users can also submit and track their personal PTO requests. The Business Calendar currently only supports one region.
- Set your region under Organization > General.
- Go to the Business Calendar tab.
- Set your region's Weekends. These days are marked as non-working days in your organization's calendar.
- Go to Non-Working Days and choose the Year.
- Choose how to add holidays:
- Add – Click Add to add holidays manually. This brings up a modal to set the Start Date and End Date, give the holiday a Name, and choose whether to make it recurring. Click Save.
- Import – Click Import to import a CSV file. If needed, you can download the sample file. If data is incorrect or missing from the file, the modal displays an error with what you need to edit.
- Click More (...) beside a holiday to Edit or Delete it.
You can set holidays as single days or multiple days and as annually recurring. CMP displays the holidays in the Plan > Calendar View and in the Date Picker when assigning start dates or due dates to campaigns, hypotheses, events, and so on.
The Date Picker marks weekends as light grey and holidays as red. If you hover over the colored dates, a tooltip with the holiday name displays.
You can still assign hypotheses to users on weekends or holidays.
Add personal time off
- Go to your name > Availability. The region is pre-defined from the organizational settings.
- Select the year, and choose how to add time off:
-
Log Time-Off – Click Log Time-Off to add time off manually. This brings up a modal to set the Start Date and End Date, add a Note, and choose whether to make it recurring. Click Save.
- Import – Click Import to import a CSV file. If needed, you can download the sample file. If data is incorrect or missing from the file, the modal displays an error with what you need to edit.
-
Log Time-Off – Click Log Time-Off to add time off manually. This brings up a modal to set the Start Date and End Date, add a Note, and choose whether to make it recurring. Click Save.
When someone tries to assign you a hypothesis during your time off, they see a message and an icon that you are unavailable.
Personal days off only display during the assignee selection if a due date is present. If a due date was selected earlier, an indicator notifies the assigner that the user has time off scheduled.
Configure publishing settings
The Publishing tab lets you turn on or off the publishing of content in the platform for your organization.
You can also add custom crop points for image editing while setting custom styles for usage in the text editor. Custom crop points determine the maximum width and height for images you publish to your feeds or sites.
The maximum size allowed by the Consent Management Platform (CMP) is 10 megapixels. You can add custom crop points at any time.
Custom styles apply the CSS styles defined on your hub to your published content. Applying a preset class in the text editor ensures consistency with your hub styles. If you change a style, CMP automatically updates any text that uses that style.
The Publishing tab also lets you set the following:
- Allowed Article Canonical URL Parameters
- Blocked Terms – Enter terms, such as a competitor’s name, that you want to exclude, and they are automatically highlighted in Marketplace when searching for licensed content.
- Safe Search – Filter articles that contain offensive words from the search results in Marketplace and ensure that the content you are seeing is appropriate for your audience.
- Social Settings – Shorten links in posts.
- Optimizely for Sales – Displays the API key.
Configure budgeting and financial settings
The Budgeting and Financials tab enters budgets for campaigns and hypotheses and maintains financial tracking. You manage budgets for campaigns and hypotheses at the user level in the Roles section of the User Management settings page. See Manage user and custom roles.
Hover over a feature for information about the purpose of each feature.
- Budget Checking – Notifies users when budget overage or shortages are near.
- Default Currency – Sets a currency for organizations.
- Exchange Rates – Import the default currency from a CSV file.
