Campaign 11.25

Optimizely Campaign 11.25 was released on Wednesday, Mar 18, 2026. Among many other improvements and fixes, it contains the following changes:

Improved handling of click events
The performance of filtering click events related to categories was improved.

Copy to clipboard functionality in Profile menu
Users can now quickly copy basic information about their account and their Campaign client from the Profile menu. This helps support identify users quickly.

Improved instance selection menu
In the global navigation bar, the width of the drop-down list for selecting Campaign instances was increased to avoid cutting off names.

Prompt suggestions in Opal Chat
Opal chat now offers prompt suggestions, allowing users to quickly select a response, optionally editing it before sending.

Fixed: Rendering issue for rules in accessibility check
In accessibility checks, the results for the rules PARAGRAPH_SEMANTIC_HTML and TABLE_SEMANTIC_HTML were not rendered correctly.

Fixed: Target groups missing in REST API response
When querying information about a transactional campaign with multiple target groups through the REST endpoint {clientId}/transactionalmail/{transactionalMailId}, the API response included only one target group.

Fixed: Wrong thumbnail in push message editor
After adding a new image to a push message draft, a wrong thumbnail was displayed in the editor.

Campaign 11.24

Optimizely Campaign 11.24 was released on Wednesday, Mar 4, 2026. Among many other improvements and fixes, it contains the following changes:

Add attachments from a URL
Attachments can be added to message drafts in the Design Editor through a URL. To support this, the columns URL and Available were added to the grid of attachments.

Add file download functionality in Images & Attachments
Users can now download images and other files in the Images & Attachments feature.

More information for events in the customer journey
Campaign-related events in the ODP customer journey now get and record more details about the event from Campaign.

Date filter for querying Smart Campaigns via REST API
The REST API endpoint for listing Smart Campaigns now supports filtering by date, giving you more control when querying campaigns.

Fixed: Display errors when editing product elements
Some display errors that occurred when using product lists within product elements were fixed.

Fixed: Api-Overview displayed limited number of opt-in processes
In clients with many opt-in processes, not all opt-in processes were shown in the API overview.
 

Campaign 11.23

Optimizely Campaign 11.23 was released on Wednesday, Feb 18. 2026. Among many other improvements and fixes, it contains the following changes:

Images and attachments stored in designated folder
In Images and Attachments, uploaded files are now stored in the currently selected folder and no longer always in the section All.

Opti ID as default for new users
New Campaign users should preferably be created with an Opti ID, so opti-id is now the default value when creating a new user.

UI fixes and improvements
In the Add new icon dropdown, two magnifier icons were rendered at once;
UI improvements in the RCS Editor;
the Campaign client name is now visible in profile menu;
the Opal Chat window is moved to the background when the profile menu is open.

Sending of RCS messages via REST API
The REST API now supports sending RCS messages.

Better preview for RCS messages
The preview for RCS messages was simplified and now presents the message content without additional technical details.

Unsupported WhatsApp templates are displayed
Previously, Campaign only displayed compatible WhatsApp templates, now templates with unsupported elements are also displayed but are grayed out and cannot be selected.

Fixed: Change password/pin options were visible for Opti ID users
Campaign users with Opti ID do not need the option to change their password or PIN within Campaign, so these menu entries are now hidden for them.

Fixed: Wrong login flow when coming from Opti ID
When first logging into Opti-ID and then opening Campaign, users needed to log in again.

Fixed: Products not loaded when switching between broken feed and a working feed
When editing a product element, switching between a broken feed and a working one did not work, users had to  close the window completely and reopen it, selecting the correct feed from the outset.

Campaign 11.22

Optimizely Campaign 11.22 was released on Wednesday, Feb 4. 2026. Among many other improvements and fixes, it contains the following changes:

Opal in Campaign UI
Opal chat is now available directly as an overlay in the Campaign UI.

Better icons for non-image files
When uploading files, there are now better icons for non-image file types.

Warning when using SVG in message drafts
The Design Editor for emails now shows a warning when the user inserts an SVG image, because this format is not widely supported by email clients.

Improvements for product elements in the Design Editor
A new icon indicates when the HTML layout within a product element was edited;
There are now separate views for the HTML layout for Desktop and Mobile.

Fixed: Error when sorting attachments by availability
When sorting attachments by the Available column, the message “Could not load data” appeared and an error was displayed in the browser console.

Campaign 11.21

Optimizely Campaign 11.21 was released on Wednesday, Jan 21. 2026. Among many other improvements and fixes, it contains the following changes:

Accessibility testing for message templates
An entry point for accessibility tests was added to the Design Editor for message templates.

UI fixes and improvements
In accessibility test results, the rendering of HTML snippets was improved;
When deleting an attachment failed, the error message contained HTML code;
In the SMS editor, the highlighting of empty fields was improved;
Some issues with WhatsApp preview rendering were fixed.

Tracking Links available through REST API
The REST API now supports retrieving and updating tracking links in message drafts that were created with the Design Editor for emails.

Fixed: Online version not displayed
A problem with displaying online versions of emails was fixed.

Fixed: Blocklist upload fails
Uploading a blocklist as a CSV failed, with a message stating that a CSV import was already running.

Fixed: Unsubscribers deleted from too many lists
When users deleted unsubscribers from a recipient list, these were not only deleted in the intended recipient lists but also in other lists.

Fixed: Wrong names of downloaded files
Some names of files downloaded from Campaign were wrong if the files contained names of campaigns or message drafts.

Fixed: Improved rendering of product elements in different email clients
Product elements with data from the product data interface were not rendered correctly in Outlook when they used nested tables;
In some email clients, product elements with data from the product data interface were not rendered correctly so that they showed products twice.

Campaign 11.20

Optimizely Campaign 11.20 was released on Wednesday, Jan 7. 2026. Among many other improvements and fixes, it contains the following changes:

UI fixes and improvements
A rendering error in the drop-down field for selecting message templates was fixed;
Improved visual indication of form input errors in RCS editor;
Improved visual indication of form input errors in SMS editor.

Message draft JSON available through API
The REST API now allows getting the JSON code of a message draft from the Design Editor.

New WhatsApp message editor
A new editor for static WhatsApp messages is available.

Saved rows for landing pages
The saved rows feature is now available in the Design Editor for landing pages.

Fixed: Preview window not updated
On the Design Editor’s preview page, the buttons Template Catalog and Import JSON could be used for making changes to the message draft, but the preview was not updated. The buttons are now hidden on the preview page.

Fixed: Turnstile usergroup error
Errors could occur during the creation of a new usergroup for a Turnstile instance.

Fixed: Batch sending API failure
When using the Batch Sending API, an error in recipient list handling prevented sending messages to recipients.

Fixed: Outdated information on transactional campaigns
A cache with information on transactional campaigns was not updated often enough, leading to outdated information in API responses.

Fixed: Layout overrides lost in product elements
Selecting another product in a product element reset the layout override settings.
