The Catalog is the repository of all objects in the system. Objects in the catalog are organized into hierarchical folders.

This page explains how to:
Before you continue, ensure you have opened catalog for you app.
Create a Folder
The new folder you create is listed inside the folder you are currently working in.
Follow the steps below to create a new folder from within the catalog:
- Select the folder icon on the left and click + New:

- Choose Folder from the drop-down menu that appears.

- Populate Name and (optionally) Description in the pop-up, and click Submit.

Edit a Folder
Follow the steps below to edit a folder:
- Click the three dots on the folder row you want to edit. This displays a menu with options to edit (in black) or delete (in red):

- Click Edit. This displays a pop-up where you can edit the Name and Description fields.
- Click OK to save your changes.
Delete a Folder
Follow the steps below to delete folders:
- Click the three dots on the folder row you want to edit. This displays a menu with options to edit (in black) or delete (in red).
- Click Delete. This displays a pop-up asking you to confirm the deletion of the folder.
- Click Yes to delete the folder. This displays a pop-up confirming that you have deleted the folder.

Add an object to a Folder
To create an object and add it to a folder,
- Inside the Catalog section, click New and choose an object of your choice.
- Give the new object a name and description (optional) by clicking the Edit icon.
- Then, click the Folder field and you will see a drop-down. Choose the folder you want to place the object in.
- Once the object is added, click Save.

Move an object from one Folder to another
To move objects between folders,
- Navigate to the Catalog section, and then into the folder that has the object that you want to move.
- Click the object you want to move to open it.
- Then, click the "Edit" icon next to the object's name. In this dialog box, you can click the Folder field and in the drop-down you can choose the folder you want to move the object to.
- Finally, click Save.
