Error after deploying: 'EPiServer.Azure.Events.AzureEventProvider,EPiServer.Azure' could not be loaded.

If after you deploy you see the following error, see the resolution below.

Provider type 'EPiServer.Azure.Events.AzureEventProvider,EPiServer.Azure' could not be loaded.

Since DxC uses Azure web apps you must add the appropriate packages. 

  1. Install the NuGet package EPiServer.Azure to the project
