Create a dashboard

Use Efficiency Dashboards in Optimizely Content Marketing Platform (CMP) to create dashboards to track team performance or identify bottlenecks.

  1. Go to Efficiency Dashboards and click Create Dashboard.
  2. Enter a Name and click Create.

  3. Click Add Card to add a card.

  4. Select your card type. See Card types for details on each type. For example, click Tasks Completed to see how many tasks your team completed in Q1 2025.

  5. Enter a Title for the chart.

  6. (Optional) Choose your Chart TypeColumn (default), BarLine, or Pie.
  7. Choose what to Group by. For example, you could group by Campaign to see how many tasks your team completed for each campaign.
  8. (Optional) Choose what to Pivot by if you want to split your data. For example, you can group by workflow, then pivot by owner to see trends for individuals. If you do not want to split the data, skip this step.
  9. Add any Filters for your data as desired.
    As you make changes to any field, the chart must update. Click to see the changes.

  10. Click Save when finished. This adds the card to your dashboard.

Example: Weekly team meeting dashboard

You can create a dashboard for weekly team meetings to track things like monthly tasks, on-time performance, content type lead time, and blogs by region.

This dashboard follows these steps:

  1. Create a dashboard named Weekly Team Meeting.
  2. Add a Tasks by Status card named Monthly Task Check, grouped by Month, pivoted by Status, and filtered by Creation date Is after 0 Years ago.
  3. Add a On-Time Performance card to track tasks for a workflow, event, or campaign. In this example, the card is named On Time Performance Opticon), grouped by Workflow, and filtered by Workflow Is one of with tasks related to Opticon (such as Opticon Email Workflow and Opticon Breakout - Socials).
  4. Add a Lead Time card named Content Type Lead Time, grouped by Quarter, and pivoted by Content type. See the example in Create cards for information on configuring this card.
  5. Add a Tasks Completed card named Blogs by Region, grouped by Region and filtered by Status Is Completed and Creation date Is after 0 Years ago. See the tasks by region example to configure a similar card.
