Conditional activation

The New Visual Editor offers advanced features for your experiments and campaigns, including the ability to use conditional activations.

Define a condition that the user must meet to activate and see an experiment.

  1. Click Activation. The Conditional Activation window displays.

  2. Select a condition from the Select Condition drop-down list that the user must meet to activate the experiment.

    • Clicked – The user must click the specified element to activate the changes in the variation.
    • Scrolled to – The user must scroll to the specified element to activate the changes in the variation.
    • Hovered – The user must hover their cursor over the specified element to activate the changes in the variation.
    • Element is present – The specified element must exist within the page to activate the changes in the variation.
    • Exit Intent – The user must move their cursor off the top of the page to close the browser to activate the changes in the variation.
    • Time on Page – The user must spend the specified amount of time on the webpage to activate the changes in the variation.
  3. Set the Selector or the Time that you want to use in your previous selection to activate the changes in the variation.
  4. Click Save.
