Set up Classic CMS roles

To add/edit or review/approve content in the Admin Console or CMS, Commerce Connect users must be assigned the appropriate roles:

  • ISC_ContentEditor - Users with this Role may add and edit content
  • ISC_ContentApprover - Users with this Role may preview, approve and publish content
  • ISC_ContentAdmin - Users with this role may add, edit, preview, approve and publish content. Additionally, this role can create and edit page templates.

Although it is not a requirement, it is recommended that users with the ISC_ContentApprover also have the ISC_ContentEditor role in order to make minor edits to content prior to approving the revision.
