Exception when Editing Content with 50 or More Aliases

If there are 50+ aliases for a single piece of content, editing the content will produce the following error.

Exception Details: System.InvalidOperationException: Ektron.Cms.Framework.UI.JavaScript.Register() cannot register javascript - ControlCollection is read only.

Resolution

To resolve the issue either upgrade to 9.1SP1 or reduce the number of aliases for the content. Besides this error, another reason to reduce the aliasing is having a high number of aliases can be detrimental to SEO.
