Content is not being archived when the end date is reached

The specified end date for a piece of content arrived but the item did not get archived. Cycling the Ektron Windows Service also did not result in the archiving of the content.

The archiving process assumes the content is published and available (A status). If, for example, the content status is checked in (I) or checked out (O), the content will not be archived. The best approach to adjusting the status is to locate the content in the workarea then publish it so the status changes to A.
