Use a conversion block in Warehouse-Native Experimentation Analytics to segment a dataset based on the observed behavior and other properties. The behavior of a dataset's record is determined by the events that are linked with the entity. The output of the conversion block is a boolean value.
Example usage
For example, you can use a conversion block to calculate the average number of times a user plays content on an online streaming platform.
Configuration
For the conversion metric, you must choose a measure type and configure the events for that metric type.
The following measures are available:
Conversion Rate
The percentage of actors that did a conversion event. For this measure type, select the events you want to analyze and set the format in which you want to see your results. The format is set to Percentage by default. The other formats available are Decimal, Date, Time, Date-Time, Time Durations, Currency, Units, Hyperlink, and Rich Text.
Average Event Count per Actor
The average number of events each actor performs. Select the events that you want to analyze.
Aggregate over property of an event
Custom aggregate for actors who did at least one of the events. Select an aggregator, set the value, and select the events you want to analyze.
Intervals Engaged
The count of time buckets for each actor in which that actor met the engaged event criteria. You need to configure the Interval and then select the event.
You can also configure property filters within the conversion metric block.
