The Content Utilization chart in the Insight section of Optimizely Content Recommendations displays a graphical representation of your topic performance. The chart helps you understand the distribution of content items usage. Using the dashboard filters slices the data, helping you see the percentages of content items that were interacted with the most. You can use this information to deliver more streamlined and personalized content.
You can gather the following information from the chart:
- X-axis – Represents the percentage of content items.
- Y-axis – Represents the percentage of interactions with your content items. This can be viewed in 2% increments.
- Green section – Displays higher-performing content items. For example, 7.41% of your content was interaction with.
- Blue section – Displays lower-performing content items. You can adjust the dotted line separator to view the percentage of content that corresponds to the percentage of your interactions. For example, 0.07% of your content accounts for 52.74% of your interactions.
- Red section – Displays the percentage of content items with no interaction. You can click the eye icon to only see the content items that are getting interactions.
-
Blue bars – Displays the name of content items (for example, Opticon 2024), the number of interactions, and the percentage of interactions against the content items when you hover your cursor over the blue bars.
You can use different filters and save the views to share with a linked URL. Expand the All Interactions drop-down list to view your saved filters.
You can also choose a time period for which you want to see the insights for different data. Expand the Show Interactions Made Between... drop-down list and choose between the specific time periods. Alternatively, set a custom time period from the date picker, and click Apply.
