View details of Opal agent usage

The credit figures are for informational use only and are not used for billing. For Opal billing and usage information, see Usage and billing dashboards.

Set the reporting period

  1. Open the Usage Date drop-down list to select the period you want the charts, tables, and summary data to cover.
  2. Choose from a preset time period or click Custom to set a custom range.

  3. Click Update. When you adjust the filters, you must click Update again to apply your new settings.

Read the summary cards

The Summary section shows four cards with headline metrics for the selected period. Each card displays a value and its change compared to the previous period of the same length.

  • Agent Executions – The total number of times agents ran.
  • Agents Used – The number of distinct agents that ran at least once.
  • Credits Consumed – The total credits used by all agent activity.
  • Active Users – The number of distinct users who interacted with Opal.

Review the execution type breakdown

The Execution Type Breakdown chart shows agent executions per day across the selected period. Each bar represents one day, labeled along the Usage Date axis. The vertical axis shows the number of Agent Executions.

Each bar is divided by execution type, identified in the legend:

  • Workflow – Executions started as part of an automated workflow.
  • Chat – Executions started through a chat interaction.

Compare bar heights to see which days had the most activity, and compare the colored segments to see the split between workflow and chat executions. Hover over a bar segment to see the exact execution count for that day and type. In the following example, hovering over the Chat portion of the Jun 19 bar displays the Usage Date (2026-06-19) and the Chat value (1,600), meaning 1,600 chat-based executions ran that day.

Interpret the agent usage breakdown table

The Agent Usage Breakdown table lists each agent and its activity for the selected period. The table includes the following columns:

  • Agent – The name of the agent, such as search_term_recommendation_writer or fieldindexorain.
  • Executions – The number of times the agent ran.
  • % of Total – The agent's share of all executions.
  • Credits – The credits the agent consumed.
  • % of Total – The agent's share of all credits consumed.
  • Avg Credits / Exec – The average credits used per execution, which helps you identify agents with a high cost per run.

Track weekly active users

The Weekly Active Users - Last 3 Months chart shows the number of active users for each week over the previous three months. The horizontal axis shows the week along the Usage Week axis, and the vertical axis shows the number of Active Users

Use this trend line to see whether active usage is growing, holding steady, or declining over time. Hover your cursor over a point to reveal its details. In the following example, the point for the Usage Week of 2026-04-06 shows 91 active users.

This chart always covers the previous three months and is not affected by the Usage Date filter.

Identify the top users

The Top Users table ranks users by activity for the selected period. Use this section to identify your highest-consuming users and to investigate any unexpected activity. You can also sort the list to view users by most or fewest executions, or most or fewest credits consumed. The table includes the following columns:

  • User – The email address of the user.
  • Credits Consumed – The total credits the user consumed, displayed as a horizontal bar so you can compare users at a glance.
  • Agent Executions – The number of agent executions the user ran, displayed as a horizontal bar so you can compare users at a glance.
