What are Opal credits?

Opal credits let you use Optimizely Opal. Credits are used any time an Optimizely Opal feature makes an API call to an AI model, such as a large language model (LLM). 

Are Opal credits pooled across products?

Optimizely Opal credits are pooled across products, making them consumable across all eligible Optimizely products.

How do I get Opal credits?

Optimizely Opal credits must be purchased. Contact your Account Administrator or Optimizely account representative. 

Where can I view and track my Optimizely Opal credit usage?

Account Administrators can view their organization’s Optimizely Opal credit usage in the Optimizely Admin center.

Can I be notified of my Opal credit usage?

Yes, Account Administrators can sign up for monthly credit usage notifications in the Optimizely Admin center.

What happens if I use all my Opal credits?

Account Administrators are notified when their organization reaches its credit limit.
