Importing response data to SAP CRM

  • Updated

This topic is for administrators and developers with administration access rights in SAP-CRM.

This topic describes how to import response data to SAP CRM, when using the integration with Optimizely Campaign. The Response Processor program included with the integration imports the CSV file with bounces and unsubscribes, after you have transferred the file from the Optimizely server to your server.

You must run the Response Processor regularly after implementation.

Transferring response data from the Optimizely server to your server

You can automate the transfer using a script.

To transfer the CSV file manually, do the following:

  1. Log in to the Optimizely server with your user credentials.
  2. Download the CSV file from your directory on the Optimizely server to your server.
  3. Save the file on your server in a directory dedicated for this task.

Specifying the path to the CSV file

In the Response Processor, specify the path to the directory where you store CSV files after download.

Contact your system administrator regarding the path to the CSV file in the Response Processor. See also configuring the Response Processor in the Admin Guide for SAP CRM integration.

Displaying bounces and unsubscribes in SAP CRM

When the Response Processor imports the CSV file with bounces and unsubscribes, a Consent Rejected entry is recorded in the Marketing Permissions assignment block for the relevant contacts.
