The dashboard displays when you sign in to Optimizely Product Information Management (PIM). This provides pre-configured statistics about your products and the work you must complete. The dashboard focuses on your products' movement through the publishing process and the collections you and your team have created and pinned on the Products page.
Admin Actions
As a user with admin or system permissions, you can use Admin Actions to do the following:
- Approve completed products to update products in a status of Ready for Approval or Submitted for Approval to Approved.
- Reset published products to approval to update published products to approved so they are included the next time you publish to Commerce.
Delete archived products.
You must re-publish any previously published archived products to deactivate them in Commerce before they can be permanently deleted.- Delete archived assets.
General Statistics
Use the General Statistics area of the dashboard to view products with specific qualifications, such as New Products or Ready for Approval.
The following statistics count products by their place in the publishing process.
- Published (All) – Products PIM sent to the site, including products PIM archived later.
- Published – Active – Products PIM sent to the site and did not archive. PIM does not ask the site to stop selling these products.
- Published – Archived – Products PIM sent to the site and archived. PIM asks the site to stop selling these products.
- Unpublished – Products with changes PIM has not sent to the site yet.
- Archived (All) – Every archived product, whatever its status. This count includes products counted as Published – Archived.
Published – Active and Published – Archived are subsets of Published (All). Click either statistic to open the product list for those products.
Collections
Use the Collections area to view pinned collections. You can click View Collection to view a specific collection.
Translations
If you use multiple languages, use the Translations area to view the completion of translations for products, assets, categories, and properties.
