System Lists allow you to customize the predefined lists like devices types. You can also create your own lists to extend platform capabilities. You can set up lists with values, for example reason code choices for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) setup.
Add a system list
- Go to Administration > System > System Lists in the Admin Console.
- Click Add System List.
- Enter a Name and Description for the new System List on the Details finger tab.
- Click Save.
- Select the Values tab.
- Click Add System List Value.
- Enter a Name and Description for the value. Optionally, add information to the Additional Information field as needed.
- Click Save. You can use this list and its values to extent platform capabilities.
To create a system list template, you can export the System Lists, edit the spreadsheet, then import it. The Name and Description fields are required.
Add product relationships
Use System Lists is to add additional product relationships, in addition to cross-sells and accessories.
- Go to Administration > System > System Lists in the Admin Console.
- Click the Edit icon next to ProductRelationship.
- Select the Values finger tab.
- Click Add System List Value.
- Enter a Name and Description for your new product relationship.
- Click Save. This new value will show up as a tab on your Product records so you can assign products to each other under this relationship heading.
