Team Messaging notifications

Configure Optimizely Opal Team Messaging notifications so you see new messages, mentions, and threads without noise. Set preferences per conversation to stay focused on the discussions that matter to you.

How notifications work

Team Messaging sends in-app notifications for new messages, @mentions, and new threads. A notification badge displays unread activity as you work across Optimizely products, so you do not miss a message when you are in another product.

Read a message from a notification

A notification displays a preview of the message. Click on the message in the notification to open the conversation and respond.

Mute a conversation

Adjust how much a conversation notifies you. Muting a busy conversation keeps its activity out of your notifications while you stay a participant.

  1. Go to Team Messages.

  2. Click More on the conversation preview.

    Or click on a conversation and click More.

  3. Click Mute Conversation.
