Auto-replace expired externally-linked assets with a placeholder
This feature automatically detects when assets pass their expiration or rights-usage date and removes them from active use, ensuring your content stays compliant with licensing and rights agreements. When an expired asset is pulled, the system replaces it with a neutral placeholder image, preventing broken layouts or blank spaces on your pages. This protects your organization from displaying assets beyond their licensed period, keeps pages visually intact, and gives editors a clear signal of where content needs refreshing.
