June
- Resource management – Added the Resources module in Content Marketing Platform (CMP), offering a centralized view of team capacity, scheduling, and time tracking for admins. Use the Workload, Planner, and Reports tabs to spot workload imbalances, reassign steps, and compare estimated hours against actual hours. Only admins can access Resources. For information, see Resource management.
- Drill-down charts in Efficiency dashboards – Added the ability to view the records behind a dashboard card. You can now view the underlying tasks, campaigns, or work requests, each linked directly to CMP, and export the full set to CSV, closing the gap between insight and actions. See Efficiency Dashboards overview.
- Inline field editing in the Library list view – Added inline editing for custom asset fields in the Library list view. You can edit field values without opening the asset and select multiple assets to update them all at once. See Manage assets.
- TIFF rendition support – Added the ability to generate JPG and PNG renditions from TIFF source assets. You can upload high-quality TIFF source files and let CMP automatically generate the web-ready versions you need for different channels and placements, so teams that work in TIFF no longer have to convert files manually before bringing them into CMP. See Image renditions.
- AI tagging for assets – Added automatic AI tagging for assets created from completed tasks, so you can find and organize an asset without tagging it manually. Tags are added as metadata, are searchable, and appear in the asset's details, where you can edit or remove them. See Manage assets.
- (Beta) Suggested assets – Added Suggested Assets, enabling CMP to recommend relevant library assets directly from a task's brief using Opal. You can find and add the right content to your brief without manually searching the Library. Suggestions are ranked by a relevance score, so the closest matches to the brief appear first. This speeds up production and encourages reuse of approved assets. See Manage tasks.
- Read-only fields – Added read-only protection for Content Marketing Platform (CMP) fields, so administrators can lock field values and prevent unauthorized edits. Enable Read Only when creating fields to make a field protected. Only admins can edit the fields after creation. All other users see a lock icon and cannot edit, add, or remove protected fields. CMP automatically populates protected field values from attached sources in a fixed precedence order. The Read Only setting can only be configured at field creation and is permanent. See Manage fields.
May
- Auto-replace expired externally-linked assets with a placeholder – Added automatic detection and removal of assets past their expiration or rights-usage date. When a page requests an expired asset, CMP replaces it with a neutral placeholder image, preventing broken layouts or blank spaces. This protects your organization from displaying assets beyond their licensed period and signals to editors where content needs refreshing. See Expired assets.
April
- Asset fields in collections – Added Asset Fields to Library Collections when accessing the collection through its public URL. This lets you review asset metadata directly from the public link, without needing to go back to CMP.
- Custom date field filter – Added the custom date field as a filter to the Plan view. You can select a preset date range or define a custom date range in the filter panel to display only the Tasks, Campaigns, and Events that fall within the selected timeframe. This helps you plan portfolios, oversee localization calendars, and manage event timelines efficiently.
February
- Hybrid workflows – Added the ability to let content teams maintain flexible and adaptable creative processes while enforcing strict governance and compliance at critical workflow stages. The feature introduces per-step controls like Step Lock to lock edits, Assignee Lock for accountability, and Asset Lock to prevent unauthorized modifications, ensuring both speed and adherence to regulatory requirements. See Hybrid workflows.
- Opal tools – Added additional tools that you can use in Opal Chat. You can convert your ideas in an Opal Canvas directly into a structured asset in CMP, turn a work request into a campaign or task with assignees and due dates, and ask Opal to find any campaign, task, or milestone without leaving the chat. See System tools for CMP.
- Asset meta information – Added the ability to see all hidden metadata from your image files in the Library, including IPTC and EXIF metadata. See Manage assets.
January
- Tasks in multiple campaigns – Added the ability to streamline your content operations by linking a single task to multiple campaigns. This feature eliminates duplicate tasks, improves cross-campaign coordination, and automatically shares completed assets, while maintaining one source of truth for task details. See Add a task to multiple campaigns.
- Mandatory asset expiry date – Added the ability to make asset expiry dates mandatory with two new settings: one for uploading assets and one for pushing assets from tasks. See Expire.
- Focal point adjustment for renditions – Added the ability to adjust the focal point for specific renditions. See Renditions.
