Efficiency Dashboards cards – Added two new cards for Efficiency Dashboards:
- Campaign Lead Time – Track how long campaigns take to complete so you can find production bottlenecks and reduce turnaround time.
- Work Requests by Status – See the status of work requests for your team, enabling smarter resource allocation and accelerating project flow.

- Selective renditions – Added the ability to add renditions for individual or selected assets in the Library, saving you time from generating every size and file type. See Renditions for information.

Permission levels – Added the ability to specify the type of edit permissions for folders and assets to fine-tune access for different users, ensuring your team has the right tools:
- Archive assets – Grant the ability to archive assets from the Library.
- Delete assets – Grant the ability to delete assets, folders, and connections from the Library.
- Edit asset – Grant the ability to edit the asset itself directly from the Library and manage versions of the asset.
- Edit asset metadata – Grant the ability to edit the Title, Asset Information, Fields, Tags, Expiry date, Related Assets, and Alt text of assets.
- Organize assets and folders – Grant the ability to organize and share assets and folders directly within the Library.

- Efficiency Dashboards – Added a Campaigns by Status card to help you visualize your campaigns, from those in progress to those completed or at risk. You can analyze campaigns by owner, creation date, completion date, or any custom field to see performance and productivity. See Create cards for information.

Change comments order – Added the ability to change the order of comments to see the newest ones first for tasks and campaigns.
- Library usage reports – Added the ability to create a report to keep track of internal Library usage. See Usage reporting for how to generate a report.
- Storage usage reports – Added the ability to create a report to keep track of DAM storage usage. See Usage reporting for how to generate a report.
- Library asset report updates – Added the ability to use Campaign ID and Name as a field for the Library Asset Report.
- Interact with workflow steps using Opal – Added the ability to send steps backward and un-complete previous steps with a quick message in Opal Chat. See Ways to use Opal Chat in CMP.
- Opal in Work Requests – Added the ability for Opal to read Work Request details (form submission, assignees, priority level, and status). When you receive a request where the priority field is marked as High, Opal can automatically accept it and create a campaign based on the information provided. See Ways to use Opal Chat in CMP.
- Spotlight updates – Added the ability to see the status of tasks when you use Spotlight Search.

- Activity Log – Added the ability to see a time-stamped record of users' actions across campaigns, tasks, assets, and more. This lets you audit actions, monitor compliance, and troubleshoot faster. See Use the Activity Log for information.
- Customized URL paths on Library assets – Added the ability to customize public URLs for Library assets to make them clean and on-brand, rather than relying on the GUID that CMP generates automatically. See Generate and edit public URLs for assets for information.

UX delights
- Spotlight – Added the ability to press Command+K or Control+K on your keyboard to quickly search your instance or access quick actions, such as prompting Opal or creating a task or campaign. See Search options for information.
- New field for work request reports – Added the ability to download work request reports with the accepted date. Go to your avatar > Reports, select Work Request for the Report Category, and check the box for Accepted date. Click Generate Report.
- Task access request notifications – Added additional options for task access request notifications. CMP sends notifications to task owners when someone requests access to a task. They can also choose to be notified through email when someone requests access to a task. See Request access to a task for information.
- Campaign permission changes – Added the ability to go to the History tab of a campaign to see when someone added or removed a user in the campaign. See Update a campaign for information.
- Organization notices – Added the ability to customize important notices for their organization to display as a butter bar across their instance, including reminders and CTAs. See Apply organizational settings for information.
- Task status updates – Added the ability to update a task's status from the List View. See Manage workflows or Task status for information.

Dark Mode – Added the ability to choose between light and dark mode in Settings. Click on your avatar and scroll down to find the Dark Mode setting.

- Efficiency Dashboards – Added the ability to build custom dashboards to find bottlenecks and track team performance. You can see tasks by status, track completion rates, and measure lead times. This helps you see what is stuck, how much content is flowing, and whether your team is meeting deadlines. See Efficiency Dashboards for information.
- Image generation – Added the ability to use Opal Chat to create images directly in the chat panel, including on-brand images if you have configured brand guidelines. You can then drag and drop the images into your task or the Omnichannel Editor. See Optimizely Opal Chat in CMP for information.
- Mandatory fields on assets – Added the ability to make fields mandatory on assets in the Library and in tasks so users know which fields are required. See Mandatory asset fields for information.
- Teams management in the Admin Center – Moved the ability to manage team settings to the Admin Center instead of CMP to centralize user management. See Manage users and teams for information.

Optimizely Opal
You must have Opti ID to use these features.
- Added the ability to use Optimizely Opal to create an entire on-brand campaign.

- Released prebuilt instruction agents to help you create your content:
- Campaign Brief (None) – Create a campaign brief in a defined structure.

Collections updates
- Added the ability to set passwords and expiration dates for public links to have greater control over who sees your collections.
- Added the ability to let users download asset renditions (different sizes and formats) from the public links. Admins can specify which rendition types are available to ensure only approved versions are accessible.

Assets updates
- Added the ability to configure renditions to be automatically overwritten with the latest version of the asset, ensuring URLs referenced elsewhere remain consistent and reflect the most current rendition. See Manage asset versions.
- Added additional notification options for asset expiration. Choose to be notified 1, 7, 30, 60, or 90 days before an asset expires. See Get notified about asset expiry.
Usage and billing update
Effective May 7, 2025, access to Optimizely Opal features across Content Marketing Platform, Web Experimentation, Feature Experimentation, Personalization, Content Management System (SaaS), Collaboration, and Optimizely Data Platform will transition to a credit-based usage and billing model.
