Deleting Ektron Windows Service Files

  • Updated

In some cases you may need to free up space on your server or refresh the Ektron Windows Service(EWS) cache. Here are the steps.

Here are the folders that can be emptied. Stop EWS before clearing the files and start it after completion. If you are using eSync be sure to delete on both sides of the sync. If Ektron load balancing is used, stop EWS on all load balanced servers at the same time, clear the files on all of the load balanced servers, and start EWS again.
