Send experimentation decision events to BigQuery

You can send experimentation decision events to your data warehouse, permitting seamless data integration and boosting your analytical capabilities. The following provides detailed instructions on exporting decision events to BigQuery.

BigQuery data share

First, retrieve the data stored by Optimizely Experimentation about your experiments using BigQuery by Google Cloud. You must submit a request to Optimizely Support or be on a higher Optimizely plan tier.

Optimizely supports BigQuery queries within the US or EU. You must run your queries in the same region where the data resides. For example, if your data resides in an EU BigQuery instance, all queries must be executed in the same region (EU). Regional alignment is required to ensure compliance and optimal performance. Queries cannot be run from a different region (US) against EU-hosted data. See Google Cloud's documentation on geography and regions.
