Optimizely Opal's Press Release agent automatically creates professional and impactful press releases, saving valuable time and ensuring consistent messaging across all announcements. This lets you efficiently distribute news, maintain brand voice, and effectively reach target audiences and media outlets.

Activate agent

Configure instruction

For optimal output tailored to your organization's unique context, you should configure an instruction, based off the sample boilerplate press release before activating the agent.

Install agent

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

After configuring your instruction, complete the following in Opal:

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select Press Release.
  3. Click Install Agent to add it to your instance. 

     

Use

In Opal chat, enter@press_releaseand provide the following details:

  • Overview – Details of what the press release is about and any input (quotes or testimonials, for example) to include.
  • (Optional) Target audience – Who you are targeting.
  • (Optional) Date – Launch date of the press release.
  • (Optional) Call to action – What you would like people to do after reading this release.

To use the Press Release agent in a workflow agent, drag and drop it into your workflow. See the Configure workflow section in the Create a workflow agent documentation.

Details

The following are the default details of the Press Release agent. After you install the agent in your Opal instance, you can customize these details based on your organization's needs. See Manage agents for instructions.
