Create sections and flows

To provide improved content recommendations, organize topics into Sections and Flows on the Content page in Optimizely Content Recommendations. Configure sections and flows before deploying recommendation blocks on your websites. This ensures optimized content delivery and relevance.

A Section categorizes content items, such as financial blog posts. Associate one or more Flows with a section. A flow organizes content by applying a set of rules that trigger a defined action when matched.

For example, if your website features various blog content types, you can create a section for financial blog posts. Set a flow to automatically approve blogs for processing and recommendations if they contain topics such as finance, retirement, IRA, and 401k. When new content items are processed that match these criteria, they are added to the financial blog section.
