You can view the list of topics extracted by Content Recommendations on the Topics page. A topic is an indexed subject (like Brand, Rentals, or Artificial Intelligence) extracted from a content item. On the Topics page, you can view topic and content item details, add individual topics to a topic selection, use filters to search for a topic, or bin the topic.
To view topic details,
- Go to Content > Topics.
- Click any topic name, for example, A/B testing.
You can view the topic details of your selected topic on the Topics page. Click the date filter drop-down list to select a time period or create your own custom period to view the following data for your selected topic:

Mentions line chart – A line chart displaying the number of times your topic was used in properties. You can view data for hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly periods, depending on your selected time frame. Hover over the line to view details.

Property – The properties that contain your selected topic. Inside an individual property, you can view the following information:
- Content Mentioning Topic – The number of content items processed during your selected time period that mention your topic.
- % Content Produced – The percentage of content produced during the selected time period that mentions your topic.
- View Content – View the content details.
- Description – A separate tab containing a short description of your topic.
You can perform the following actions on the topic page by clicking the Actions drop-down list:
- Hide Topic – Hide a topic to stop it from displaying on dashboards. However, the topic still affects personalization.
- Move To Bin – Bin a topic to stop it from displaying on dashboards and affecting personalization.
- Add to Selection – Add it to a topic selection.
Add to topic selection, make public, or bin a topic
You can add your topic to a topic selection by clicking Add to Topic Selection. You can bin your topic by clicking Bin. You can also choose to make your topic public or hidden by clicking Public. If you hide a topic, it does not display on any dashboard.
When you bin a topic, Content Recommendations adds it to the list of binned topics. Open the Bin tab to Add to Topic Selection or Restore it.
Sort, search, and view topic
Sort your list of topics in ascending or descending order, or by the date on which you created it in Content Recommendations. Additionally, you can search for a topic by entering your topic name in the Search bar and clicking Go.
You can view the content containing your topic by clicking View Content, which takes you to the Content page.
