Optimizely Opal's FAQ Creation agent analyzes existing content to generate contextually relevant, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)-optimized Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). This makes it easier to address user queries, enhance discoverability within AI-powered search, and capture valuable long-tail traffic by supplementing core content with conversational, answer-focused material.

  • Challenge – Efficiently creating and maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date FAQ section can be difficult. Manually identifying common user questions, drafting clear answers, and keeping them current with product or service changes can be a time-consuming and resource-intensive process.

Prerequisites

If you have the Profound connector tools enabled in your Opal instance, Opal uses these tools automatically to create the FAQs inspired by AI prompts tested for LLM visibility opportunities by Profound.

If you do not have the Profound connector tools enabled in your Opal instance, Opal uses Google to search for top questions related to the blog topic and create the FAQs.

Install agent

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

Do the following in Opal:

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select FAQ Creation.
  3. Click Install Agent to add it to your instance.

Use

In Opal Chat, enter @faq_creation and provide the following details:

  • URL – URL to the content you want to create the FAQ for. 

To use the FAQ Creation agent in a workflow agent, drag and drop it into your workflow. See the Configure workflow section in the Create a workflow agent documentation.
