Email Optimization agent

Optimizely Opal's Email Optimization agent analyzes provided newsletter content in Optimizely Campaign to give structured feedback and detailed recommendations for improvement. It evaluates readability, engagement, and visual appeal, offering specific sections for optimization tips, brand consistency checks, A/B testing suggestions, and a dynamic Content Score.

Install agent

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

Do the following in Opal:

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select Email Optimization.
  3. Click Install Agent to add it to your Opal instance.

If Install Agent is disabled, ensure you have the Required Optimizely products connected to your Opal instance.

Use

In Opal Chat, enter @email_optimization and optionally provide the following details:

  • Campaign ID – The ID of a Smart Campaign.
  • Campaign name – The name of a Smart Campaign.
  • Mailling ID – The ID of a message belonging to a Smart Campaign.
  • Website URL – The online version URL of a Smart Campaign.

To use the Email Optimization agent in a workflow agent, drag and drop it into your workflow. See the Configure workflow section in the Create a workflow agent documentation.

Details

The following are the default details of the Email Optimization agent. After you install the agent in your Opal instance, you can customize these details based on your organization's needs. See Manage agents for instructions.
