LinkedIn Ad Brief agent

LinkedIn Ad Brief is an Optimizely Opal agent that generates structured LinkedIn Sponsored Content ad briefs with copy variants validated against LinkedIn character limits.

  • Challenge – Writing LinkedIn ad copy that meets platform character limits and aligns with funnel stages requires manual validation and repeated revision.
  • Agent outcome – The agent delivers a structured ad brief with copy variants, character counts, Call to Action (CTA) recommendations, and format-specific guidance in a canvas.

Install agent

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and Opal Users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

Install the agent from the Opal Agent Directory.

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select LinkedIn Ad Brief.
  3. Click Install Agent to add it to your Opal instance.

Use the agent

In Opal Chat, enter @linkedin_ad_brief_generation and provide the following details:

  • Product Name – Name of the product.
  • Page URL or Product Description – The page URL or the product description.
  • (Optional) Additional Notes – Any additional data to include.

The agent generates a LinkedIn ad brief in a canvas containing copy variants, character counts, CTA button recommendations, and format-specific guidance for the selected ad type.

To use the LinkedIn Ad Brief agent in a workflow agent, drag and drop it into your workflow. See Create a workflow agent.
