Page Builder (PaaS) agent (CMS 13)

Page Builder (PaaS) is an Optimizely Opal agent that analyzes a document, image, or URL and creates a content item of a specified content type in Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) 13 (PaaS).

  • Challenge – Editors spend hours rebuilding designs, documents, and existing web pages as structured CMS content.
  • Agent outcome – The agent creates a populated Optimizely CMS content item of the specified content type under the specified parent, including uploaded media and composition structure.
  • Value – Teams move from ideation to publish-ready CMS content faster and keep content structured according to Optimizely CMS best practices.

Prerequisites

Before using the Page Builder (Paas) agent, you must have the following:

Install agent

Opal administrators, agent builders, and Opal users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

Install the agent from the Opal Agent Directory.

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select Page Builder (PaaS).

  3. Click Install Agent to add it to your Opal instance.

Use the agent

In Opal Chat, enter @page_builder_paas and provide the following details:

  • content_type – The Optimizely CMS content type to use when creating the content.
  • parent – The parent under which the agent creates this content.
  • (Optional) file – Images or documents to use as input for creating content or as assets in the created content.
  • (Optional) prompt – A prompt that contains a URL or other input to the agent for creating content.

The agent returns a text response confirming the created content item and providing a preview URL for the new content in Optimizely CMS.

The agent uses the following default configuration:

  • Inference level – Pro. Provides maximum reasoning depth.
  • Files – None.
  • Output – Text.
