Accessibility in Configured Commerce

  • Updated

Optimizely Configured Commerce aims to follow WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines and Siteimprove standards in developing storefront pages and components for Spire. These efforts help enable you to obtain accessibility certification if projects stay close to the base page design.

Accessibility certification is project-specific, as a large portion of accessibility certification relies on project-specific factors like having data populated (such as image alt text), the design of the site (such as colors or font sizes) and extensions that are added on top of the platform. You must go through your own certification process to guarantee compliance.
